Lady Gaga y Ariana Grande favoritas en la lista de nominados de los VMA 2020

Lady Gaga y Ariana Grande parten como favoritas en las nominaciones de los Video Music Awards 2020 dados a conocer por MTV por su video ‘Rain on Me’ al conseguir nueve nominaciones , seguidas por Billie Eilish y su ‘Everuthing I Wanted’  y The Weeknd con ‘Blinding Lights’ con seis nominaciones cada uno.

Los premios, que se entregarán el próximo 30 de agosto en Nueva York, en una gala sin público, han sido anunciados por primera vez a través de una nota de voz de Twitter, una función novedosa que ha añadido la red social. En esta edición, además se añaden dos categorías especialmente pensadas para incluir el consumo responsable de música durante la crisis del coronavirus con Mejor vídeo musical desde casa y mejor actuación en cuarentena.

En el apartado latino, J Balvin parte como favorito con tres nominaciones por su canción ‘Amarillo’ y otras dos por sus colaboraciones con Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna y Karol G en ‘China’, y con Maluma en ‘Qué pena’.

Por su parte, Rosalía consigue nominación en categoría técnica por la edición de ‘A palé’, tras conseguir el año pasado los galardones de mejor coreografía y vídeo latino por ‘Con Altura’.
